IGP Egbetokun Presents N1.87 Million to Families of Fallen Police Heroes

In a solemn ceremony on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, representing IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, NPM, Ph.D., handed over checks totaling N1,866,201.94k to ten families of deceased police officers. The financial support is part of the IGP Group Life Insurance Scheme, aiming to assist families who lost their loved ones in the line of duty.
CP Musa urged the beneficiaries to use the funds wisely, offering prayers for the peaceful rest of the departed souls. Abdulrahman Aminu, expressing gratitude on behalf of the families, acknowledged the IGP's generosity and pledged responsible utilization of the financial assistance.
